onlineness refers to the fact of maintaining a constant online presence, in order to be able to instantly react to any new internet developments, no matter how insignificant. onlineness may lead to acute loneliness and pathological syndromes such as extralineaphobia.
“互联网自闭症”指的是为了能对任何网上的新进展做出准时反应而常常上网，无论有多么不重要。这种行为会使人产生极度的孤独感，与“脱网恐惧感”等病态症状。
Onlineness是online和loneliness 的合成词，指上网上得太多，随时看手机刷微博刷朋友圈，可是却愈加孤独。
Extralineaphobia 则是指对于上不了网，学会不了互联网最新事件的非常荒唐的恐惧感。
